9 Space

All blank space within WML code is condensed down to single spaces by the browser. Extra spaces, carriage returns, tab indents etc have no effect on the displayed content. In fact all the code in a WML document could be written on a single line with no breaks and still produce valid results. In practice we use gaps and new lines for clarity.

This is a feature of markup languages making the source code easier to read and modify.

All paragraphs produce exactly the same result.
